SEYI AFENI: YOUTH MUST BALANCE POLITICS WITH SELF DEVELOPMENT

In a thought-provoking address, Honorable Seyi Afeni, the immediate past Supervisor for Information and ICT in Yaba LCDA, has urged young people to engage in politics with a positive mindset while prioritizing self-development.

Speaking to a gathering of youths, Afeni emphasized the importance of embracing politics as a means to create positive change, but also cautioned against neglecting personal growth and development. "After politics, it is the development you have acquired that you will fall back on," he advised.
The seasoned politician and CEO of Crispy Juice, a leading juice bottling and packaging company, encouraged the youths to view politics as an opportunity to make a difference, while also investing in themselves through education, skills acquisition, and personal development. This, he noted, would enable them to build a strong foundation for their future, regardless of the outcome of their political endeavors.
Afeni's words of wisdom come as a timely reminder to young people to approach politics with a sense of purpose and responsibility, while also prioritizing their personal growth and development. By doing so, they can make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond, while also securing their own future.

The advice from Afeni, a respected voice in the community, is expected to resonate with young people who are increasingly becoming interested in politics and governance. As they navigate the complexities of politics, his words of wisdom will undoubtedly serve as a guiding light for many.
