GRASSROOT MEDIA PRACTITIONERS COUNCIL OF NIGERIA SET TO HONOUR HON. SEYI JAKANDE


The Grassroot Media Practitioners Council of Nigeria (GMPCN) is set to confer its prestigious "Beacon of Hope" award on Hon. Seyi Jakande, Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA. The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2025.

According to the GMPCN, Hon. Jakande's selfless service to society and humanity has earned him this recognition. His commitment to the welfare of his constituents and his contributions to the development of his community have made a lasting impact.

The GMPCN, known for acknowledging outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to society, recently honored Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his exemplary leadership.
