CONF-57 CPS HONOURS OTUNBA OLUWASEYI ABIODUN ODUFOWOKAN, FCPA
Lagos State Chief Press Secretaries (CPS) Conference 57 honored Otunba Oluwaseyi Abiodun Odufowokan, FCPA, with a Meritorious Award at the recent valedictory/induction program held at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) Topo, Badagry.
As the inaugural Financial Secretary and subsequent Board of Trustees Chairman of CPS 57, Otunba Odufowokan played a pivotal role in the conference's success. His dedication was evident in his early tenure as Financial Secretary, where he consistently delivered exceptional performance.
Beyond his contributions to CPS 57, Otunba Odufowokan served as Chief Press Secretary to the late Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya, Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This underscored his commitment to public service and effective communication. He also held significant positions as APC Local Government Vice-Chairman and subsequently APC Local Government Chairman in his constituency.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Otunba Odufowokan presented an award of appreciation to the Chairman of Olorunda LCDA for his exemplary collaboration with media professionals in the local council, fostering a positive relationship that benefits Lagos State. Otunba Odufowokan was also presented with a Meritorious Award by the Chairman of CPS 57, Hon. Kamaldeen Abdulsalam, and the immediate past chairman, Hon. Ayodele Ayeyemi.
